I have a show coming up in Oct. at the Carmel Art Association. I am working on large plein air landscapes
for the show and also for Galerie Plein Aire. You maybe asking  "What is the difference between a studio painting and plein air painting?"

With my plein air work I try to capture the color I see with the moment of the day. It’s a challenge to complete a large painting on location before the light changes.  I have been getting up 5am in the morning in order to capture that early morning light, by 10am the light is gone.
